Thames Side Sensors' excellent export sales results during the last few years have been recognised by the United Kingdom's Solids Handling and Processing Association (SHAPA) and on 22nd April 2020 we were presented with the "2020 SHAPA EXPORT AWARD" - in a 'virtual' way of course.
The awards ceremony took place via video conferencing, for the first time in memory, due to the current international lock-down amid the Covid-19 global pandemic. It was attended by many representatives from prestigious organisations expert in solids handling & processing, such as Ajax Equipment, JR Boone, Buhler, DMN Westinghouse, Flexicon, Gericke, Spiroflow, Russell Finex, Vortex Valves, Guttridge, Fike UK, Aptech and Zeppelin Systems, all keenly tuning in to discover who would win the coveted 2020 awards.
Thames Side has has excellent export sales performance during the last few years and we were commended in particular for creating a dedicated European subsidiary company, Thames Side Sensors Europe Ltd. (Ireland), in order to continue to serve our customers located in the European Union without any disruption from our Barcelona factory - irrespective of the outcome of the Brexit process and the ongoing trade negotiations between the UK and the European Union.
We are extremely proud to receive this award and it is thanks to the hard work, dedication and unrelenting commitment of the Thames Side team - our desire to provide the best products, free of charge technical support, the best customer service and the best delivery reliability in the industry has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.
