In our factories, every single load cell is manufactured under strict quality controls, with full traceability, and individually optimised & tested using the latest technology to ensure its performance. Our production system does not permit shipment of a load cell whose performance is not within the strictly defined limits; the identification label cannot even be printed in this scenario.

Many manufacturers test only a few load cells per batch - for us this practice is not acceptable.

Components and raw materials are sourced from world class manufacturers with quality as the priority. Use of the latest Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software pinpoints the optimum design for correct operation, then rigorous manufacturing and test procedures ensure total reliability under the harshest of conditions.

Our main factory is located in the industrial hub of Barcelona, Spain, with a mirror facility in Morocco, where extremely skilled labour is readily available.  Both factories operate according to identical procedures and the highest possible quality standards.

Stock Availability & Fast Shipping

We carry a high level of stock in both our Reading (UK) and Barcelona (Spain) warehouses and we can usually offer a next-day delivery service in the UK or a 1-3 day service within Europe (depending on your location and needs). For larger projects where we do not have immediate availability, we have competitive delivery times and we are very proud of our "on time" delivery performance. The delivery times we give are honest and realistic, so that you can plan for your projects accordingly.

Logistics Experience

We have many years of experience in logistics, shipping and export/import procedures, including the provision of shipping documents, for example formal Certificates of Origin and EUR1 documents.  We can ship wherever you request, alternatively customers can arrange for collection from our warehouses in Reading, UK and Barcelona, Spain.  Contact us for details of how to collect goods from us.

Flexible Payment Options

Unlike several of our competitors, we have no minimum order charge and customers of Thames Side UK have the option to pay by credit card over the telephone (billed in GBP) for any urgent requirements.  We accept all major card types, except American Express.  Customers can also request a credit account at any time (subject to the result of credit checks).  Many of our key customers benefit from credit terms.

We place great importance on being aware of and minimising the impact of our company's operations on the environment.

We actively avoid the printing of documents unless it is absolutely necessary and we send order related documentation by e-mail instead of by post - for example order confirmations, invoices and customer account statements.

We recycle the minimal amount of plastic, glass, paper and cardboard waste that we generate from our administrative and manufacturing activities and our company-owned vehicles are electric.
